How InstantFeedback pricing works: pay only for the responses you get
Why we bill per response instead of a flat licensing fee, and what that means for your budget.
Most feedback tools charge a flat monthly fee whether your customers respond or not. You pay the same price for a campaign that gets a 2% response rate as one that gets 40%.
We think that’s backwards. So InstantFeedback’s baseline pricing is per response: you’re billed for feedback that actually comes back, not for requests that go unanswered.
How it works
Every account starts on Grow, a pay-as-you-go plan with no monthly subscription — you only pay per response, on a sliding scale that gets cheaper as your volume grows. As your needs grow, Business and Enterprise tiers add a monthly base (SMS infrastructure, AI-generated feedback theme reports, and — at the top tier — unlimited responses included) on top of the same per-response principle.
What counts as a response
A response is a submitted grade, comment, or completed survey question. Sending a request that never gets answered doesn’t cost you anything.
Why we built it this way
When a vendor only gets paid for results, the incentives line up: we care about your response rate as much as you do. That’s also why response rate — not seats, not “requests sent” — is the number we lead with when we talk about what InstantFeedback delivers.
